Product description: Wirewound potentiometer RP22/23
Robust and compact wirewound potentiometer with high precision
The RP22/23 series is a wirewound potentiometer for precise position measurement, with a 22 mm metal housing and a compact installation depth of just 12 mm, ideal for applications with limited installation space. They are often used as feedback sensors in valve controls.
The RP22 offers an electrically effective angle of rotation of up to 355°. The RP23 version has a mechanical end stop that limits the angle of rotation to 320°. This prevents unintentional over-rotation and ensures safe operation, especially in manual applications. In addition, the RP23 version has a high stop torque of 90 Ncm, ideal for applications that are subject to higher mechanical loads.
The potentiometer is available with axial connections while retaining the option of a rear shaft. This means that it can be connected to a synchronized mechanism despite the axial connections.
The gold-plated solder lugs ensure a reliable electrical connection.
Options:
- Independent linearity: ±0.3 %, optional ±0.25 %
- Resistance tolerance: ±3 %, optional ±1 %
- Resistance values: 10 Ω to 20 kΩ
- Rear shaft: For mechanical connection to synchronized mechanisms on the rear of the potentiometer
- Center tap: Enables voltage or current tapping at a defined point on the resistor track, allowing for additional measurement outputs.
- Shaft adaptations: Various geometries and lengths
- Screwdriver slot: Facilitates adjustment
- Shaft seal: Protection against dust and moisture, ideal for harsh environments
