Product description: High-end Miniature Optoelectronic Encoder MOT7
Miniature encoder for high-precision miniaturised devices
The MOT7 series is an extremely compact optical incremental encoder which, with its 7.2 mm housing and a housing depth of just 8 mm, is one of the smallest on the market. Thanks to the ball bearing, it offers high mechanical stability and enables a maximum speed of up to 6000 rpm.
With a resolution of up to 400 imp/rev, the MOT7 is suitable for high-precision applications that require fine position measurement. The cut-off frequency of 100 kHz ensures reliable signal processing without delays.
The signal is transmitted via an open collector output. The encoder has two channels (A, B) for recognising the direction of rotation and an index (Z) for an exact reference per revolution.
Thanks to the radial cable routing with 500 mm ribbon cable, the MOT7 is easy to integrate. The bushing fastening ensures uncomplicated mounting.
Thanks to its extremely compact design, the MOT7 is particularly suitable for use in miniaturised robots and semiconductor production, where precise position measurements are required in the smallest of spaces.
