Product description: Miniature Optoelectronic Encoder MOT13
Miniature encoder for high-precision special applications
The MOT13 series is a high-precision optical incremental encoder that is extremely compact with a 13 mm housing and a maximum housing depth of 22 mm. Thanks to the ball bearing, it offers high mechanical stability and enables a maximum speed of up to 6000 rpm.
With a resolution of up to 16,000 rpm thanks to an integrated multiplier, the MOT13 is suitable for high-precision applications that require fine position measurement. The cut-off frequency of 100 kHz ensures reliable signal processing.
Signals are transmitted via the following output types:
- TTL (transistor-transistor logic): Provides a standardised, digital signal for direct connection to control systems or microcontrollers with short cable runs.
- Open collector: Enables a customisable signal voltage through external pull-up resistors and can operate various controllers. The output can also perform simple switching functions directly.
- Line Driver (Differential): Provides interference-free, differential signal transmission, ideal for long cable runs or environments with strong electromagnetic interference.
Thanks to the axial cable routing with individual strands, the MOT13 is easy to integrate. The bushing mounting for solid shaft models or spring flange for hollow shaft models enables secure installation.
Typical fields of application are precision machines, semiconductor production systems and robotics, where exact position measurements are required in the smallest of spaces.
