The all-round panel encoder for high radial and axial forces with or without detent / pushbutton at an attractive price
The MRS panel encoders are the most compact manual setpoint devices in the MEGATRON portfolio at an attractive price. Their wide range of variants, solid mechanical construction and finely tuned selection of components make them true all-rounders. Quality at a low price need not be a contradiction. This is reflected in a life expectancy of 1 million revolutions and an optional IP65 shaft seal. Particularly noteworthy are the high radial and axial forces with which the panel encoder can be operated. The MRS series has been on the market for many years and has proven itself in a wide range of applications.
Portfolio allocation
Detents / resolutions: Three variants of detents, even without mechanical detent There are 3 different mechanical detents of 16, 24 to 32 (audible and tactile) "clicks" with corresponding 4, 6 or 8 pulses per revolution or without mechanical detent (4, 6 or 8 ppr.).
Detent torques: Two variants The panel encoder is available with two different detent torques: a low detent torque (0.4 ±0.2 Ncm) and a higher detent torque (1.1 ±0.5 Ncm). The version without mechanical detent has an operating torque (<0.2 Ncm). If significantly higher detent torques are required, these can be found in the MRB series.
Push button: With or without push button The panel encoder has an integrated (or optionally no) pushbutton with travel of 0.5 ±0.3 mm. For applications requiring a longer travel for the pushbutton, please refer to the MRT series, for a shorter travel refer to the MRB series. In addition, the series MRB has three variations of pushbutton actuation force.
Design: The most compact in our range with six electrical connection types At just 15 x 16 x 8.5 mm (L x W x D), 11 grams, IP65 and with a wealth of options, the MRS panel encoder has no equal.
Power supply / output signal: 5 V or 3.3 V power supply, open collector output
