Very precise and durable servo flange potentiometer for a wide range of applications
The HHS17 series was developed for applications that require a very precise and durable multiturn potentiometer with servo flange. With a compact Ø22 mm housing and a wide range of options, this potentiometer is ideal for applications where accuracy and reliability are essential.
The potentiometers have a wirewound resistor element that is finished with a conductive plastic layer. This eliminates the so-called winding jumps and the resolution is almost infinite. Due to the smooth surface of the resistive element, the hybrid potentiometer has a significantly longer lifetime and qualifies it as a position feedback sensor in bearing control loops.
The HHS17 potentiometers can optionally be equipped with a slip clutch, which protects the potentiometer from damage caused by travelling over the end stops. The potentiometer is available with 3, 5 or 10 turns.

- Linearity: ±0.25 % (option up to ±0.1 %)

- Centre tap: Enables voltage or current tapping at a defined point on the resistor track and extends the functionality, this enables the additional output of measurements
